VI Energy Office- Frederiksted St Croix, US Virgin Islands

This is the new St Croix office for the VIEO. We installed 250 sq/ft of Huper Optik Fusion 10 Window Film. Rejecting 77% of the Total Solar Energy and making these windows more efficient than the current building code which require a SHGC of .30 or less. Fusion 10 has a SHGC of .23 while rejecting 99.9% of the fading U/V rays. If you have a reason to stop in at the VIEO take a look at the glass. The huge office windows maintain the mirrored privacy during daylight hours while still allowing the inhabitants to see outside.

PC Landscape Building- Mid Island St Croix US Virgin Islands

This new construction metal building was originally planned with no insulation. The TCM 4-IR was placed while installing the currogated roof panels. As shown the reinforced side is facing up while the three performance layers are facing down into what will soon be the drop ceiling, rejecting 98% of the Infrared Radiation making this one of the"coolest" buildings on the block. These four top floor office bays will have significantly reduced air conditioning costs as a result of the TCM radiant barrier. PC Landscape (340.778.4091) was also able to apply for a 30% rebate from the VIEO making the installation very affordable. This is a prime example of the true intention of ARRA "Stimulus Funds" from the Federal Government.

Marshall & Sterling Insurance- Gallows Bay US Virgin Island

Marshall & Sterling had three different concerns at their building with over 600 sq/ft of windows and doors. The front door needed maximum visual light transmission with as much heat rejection as possible (Huper Optik Ceramic 50). Next there are areas that they wanted maximum performance and maximum privacy (mirrored film) including the back door, kitchen and cashiers windows (Huper Optik Fusion 10). And on the majority of the full size glass office windows they needed high heat rejection with appreciable light tramsmission for employees and customers (Huper Optik Energy Saver Ceramic 35). The Fusion 10 qualified for a rebate. Furthermore, the single layer ceramic ESC 35 film is less expensive than the dual layer ceramic line. The report was that the HVAC was cycling on/off when only half of the building had been installed. All goals were accomplished on this installation.

This customer has south facing and west facing windows. After installing Huper Optik Energy Saver Ceramic 35, the glass and rooms were significantly cooler while rejecting 99.9% of the U/V fading rays. This ceramic film allows this customer to see through the glass both ways day or night. Rejecting 60% of the Total Solar Energy. The customer reported to have changed their thermostat from 21 degrees Celsius to 23 degrees Celsius on their split unit air conditioner. An immediate realised savings on their energy costs.

New Home- Tradewinds Morningstar St Croix US Virgin Islands

This customer is building a new home in Tradewinds Morningstar. This home has both high ceiling gable ends and flatter low slope roof/ceilings. We installed TCM on the low slope roof and office area prior to the installation of the Galvalume metal currogated roof panels. The installation is rejecting 98% of the Infrared Radiation, significantly reducing the thermal gain into the home. The customer (a local architect) commented that he definitely notices the difference and would recomend Thermal Control Membrane to all his local customers in the future. The video clip shows the interior temperature differentials of an area that was getting TCM installed and an adjacent area that had not been installed yet.
